This is Bramble's little girl. She's solid black, at least for now. She'll probably look like her daddy in a few months.

Her expression is remarkably like his right here.

Picayune must think that trying to steal babies when they're born is normal (since the horses tried to take her).

This is Sweetie's little boy. He was born yesterday.

So he's still a little awkward on his legs.

And pretends to be a bit shy.

But he's awful cute.

For some reason, this thing will only let me post four pictures at a time.

Sweetie would like to know what I'm doing with her baby.

'Cause, baby is hers.

Captain Hawkeye Pierce

Spoiled rotten.

Likes to bite bare feet.

He was dumped by someone down in Meadow Creek, and found me (came running at high speed across a horse pasture). Now making himself perfectly at home, completely unafraid and snuggly (he tried to sleep on Quigley's tail). Lisa and Ziffer aren't exactly thrilled, but Ziffer is warming up to him and will even play a little if the mood strikes him. Lisa feels that he's a interloper of the worst kind as he sleeps on the bed with me, where she usually sleeps.

Flowers for Meese

Posted by Picasa

There's some kind of flower which the butterflies, bees, and just about any other winged thing really seem to like.

There was something that looked like an electric blue wasp (too fast to get a pic of).

A strange cross between a bumblebee and a wasp which moved like a humming bird.

And plenty of Zems (I decided that all the bees should be called Zem).

Cripple is a cutie.

Clyde has to get into everything. 'That camera must be a cunningly disguised bottle.

'Cake's daughter, my little Meese's sister. Her voice sounds so much like her sister's.

And just because. 2 pounds 6 ounces, not done yet. The difference in color is where I started crochetting with unwashed yarn, just to save time. I'll wash it when I'm done and see how it turns out.
